SPD4459 Yau Tsim Mong Food and Beverage - Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐

After having a meal in Japanese restaurant, Ding Ding suggested having a meal in a Chinese restaurant. Din Tai Fung is famous among the world which is located in Tsim Sha Tsui. This was also awarded Michelin 1-star in Hong Kong.

享用完日本料理店之後後，安丁丁建議去中式餐館食個飯。鼎泰豐係聞名世界既中式餐館，位於尖沙咀，同時鼎泰豐獲得米芝蓮一星級既評分。

After receiving a queue ticket from the receptionist, they had a stroll around the shopping mall for almost 30 minutes before they finally got a table. It was not even the peak dining period at six in the evening, but the crowd was already building up.

收到接待員既排隊票之後，佢地一行十幾人係商場周圍行，行左大約30分鐘後，佢地就收到點菜單同埋可以入去就坐。雖然只係夜晚六點，並唔係晚飯時段高峰期，但已經排滿左等候入座既人。

The first foodstuff was the Steamed Pork Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao). Juicy meat fills inside in a supposedly melt-in-your-mouth skin. The silky smooth dough was made in small batches to maintain freshness. Finally, the dumplings are steamed at the perfect temperature and served hot.

第一道小菜就係小籠包，豬肉既肉汁鎖住左係包入面，咬落去入口即溶既感覺。鼎泰豐既小籠包限量出售以確保品質新鮮。小籠包係完美溫度底下送到丁丁佢地面前。

Another foodstuff was the Noodle with minced pork in bean sauce. Despite being a simple dish, they enjoyed the handmade noodle which was cooked to al dente standard, giving it a pleasantly springy consistency texture. The minced pork in bean sauce was itself a very savory-inclined element to the dish.

另一款食品係炸醬面。即使係好簡單一道菜，佢地幾個都好鐘意有口感，有彈性既手打面。剁碎左既豬肉混合豆瓣醬，係一款非常可口既小菜。

Another dish was egg fried rice with fried pork chop. The fried pork chop was one of Din Tai Fung's signature dishes, with the thin slice of meat finely marinated with herbs. It tasted very tender and managed to retain the moisture much needed within the meat. The underlying taste was a very palatable savory one.

另一道菜係炸豬排蛋炒飯，炸豬排係鼎泰豐招牌菜之一，係特別香草下，炸豬排味道非常細嫩同埋鎖住左豬肉既水分，味道非常可口的。

Today, USB don't go to yum cha but go to have some western foods. Dr Panini was a small restaurant before, but now it grown up and move to a bigger shop.
今日USB唔係食大茶飯,而係食高級野 - 西餐。事關USB原來係住大角咀嘅,Dr Panini 開左唔算好耐,不過之前係大角咀度做街邊小生意,做起左就搬左過黎博文街啦。

Cheese fondue is very famous in this restaurant, USB must not miss it.
呢間野芝士火鍋最出名,USB當然唔會唔叫佢啦。不過選擇頗多,佢就求其叫左個雜錦芝士火鍋。

This is a assorted cheese fondue. It includes potato,sausages, pineapples, and so on...
配料好多!USB心諗果然冇叫錯,有薯仔﹑腸仔﹑菠蘿﹑西蘭花﹑煙鴨胸﹑蘋果等等......

USB is too anxiety to put a lot of things into the pot. It will very easy to get charred if you don't always stir the cheese. Also, the cheese seems not enough.
USB非常心急咁一下就放左勁多配料落去芝士度。芝士要不時攪拌,如果唔係就會燶,千祈唔好學USB咁心急呀,要慢慢黎對手先會冇咁忙。芝士味非常濃郁,美中不足係好快會點哂。

USB is very hungry, he ordered a Bolognese Lasagna when he finished the hot pot.
USB睇黎非常大食,食完一個芝士火鍋都唔夠,仲要叫多個焗肉醬士層麵。

There is a lot of cheese on the lasagna,and mashed potato next to it. But the bolognese is too little that lead to greasy.

 麵上舖滿芝士,旁邊有薯蓉襯托,但肉醬略嫌少左D,令到個麵因為薯蓉而太膩同太滯,不過USB咁大食,以上都唔算係太大問題!

Today, Sir Wong and On ding ding promise to meet at Kam Wah Cafe for exchanging more information about illegal commerce. To hidden Ding ding identity, they have chose different seat.

今日，黃蛇同安丁丁相約左喺金華餐廳交流USB非法交易既情報。為左掩飾丁丁卧底身份，佢地揀左唔同既座位去坐。

Ding ding has ordered a pineapple bun with thick slice of butter. Pineapple bun with a thick slice of butter are must-have of Kam Wah. The crust was really sweet and crispy on the outside and pretty soft on the inside. Staff were generous enough to put a thick slice of butter in the middle of the bun. However, a better texture if you can take it without melting of the butter.

坐低之後，安丁丁點左金華必食既波羅包，金華既波羅包表皮脆而香甜，內裹軟熟，上面鋪左一片牛油，而且金華既員工好慷慨咁，每個波羅包放一大片牛油，如果想好食一點，就如喺牛油未溶曬前放入口，會有更好既口感。

Apart from ordering pineapple bun, Ding also ordered a glass of coconut milk with red beans. Coconut milk with red beans – The coconut was quite rich, didn’t really use a lot of water to mix it unlike some other restaurants. The red beans were really soft, but not mushy. Good taste!

除左點左波羅包，丁丁仲點左椰汁紅豆冰。金華紅豆冰椰汁味濃，唔似其他餐廳一樣開好多水，紅豆質感軟，唔會因為浸得耐而變糊狀。正！

Sir Wong has ordered hotdog. Hotdog in Kam Wah are made of bread with sausage, sliced tomato, lettuce and relish. However, uncommonly, they didn’t seem to put any mayonnaise in it. The hotdog bun was warm and toasty. All the ingredients they used to make hotdog were well complementing the warm and tasty bun. Sir Wong think this was pretty delicious. However, he think the hotdog is better if sausage was bigger.

黃蛇點左一份熱狗，金華熱殺入面有香腸，生菜，切片蕃茄，蕃茄汁。然而，同出面餐廳唔同既係，金華唔會用蛋黃醬去做熱狗。新鮮出爐既熱狗暖烘烘，所有既材料都十分配合同有口感，黃蛇覺得非常好味，但覺得香腸唔夠大。

During enjoying their meal in Kam Wah, Ding ding has prepared some initial information of illegal commerce and went to send it to Sir Wong.  Interestingly, Ding ding has sent the intimate photos of him and Mklababy toward Sir Wong. Sir Wong felt angry. “Please understand your identity and responsibility.” Sir Wong said severely.

喺佢地用緊佢地美食既同時，丁丁準備左非法交易既資料SEND比黃蛇。但丁丁好唔小心SEND左佢同Mklababy既親密照比黃蛇，黃蛇見到嚇左一驚，然後好嚴厲咁話左丁丁要注意自己既身份。

Overall, they think the food was pretty good. However, it was really crowded. So, be prepared if you don’t like highly crowded restaurants.

總括而言，佢地覺得金華食物唔錯，但地方略為擠迫。

In 17th October, On ding ding followed USB to Kubrick and thought he is going to do the great business, but unfortunately USB just had a lunch there. Until yesterday, On ding ding continued to gain trust from Mklababy so he had to go out for a dinner. After these two days, On ding ding was very tired, however today On ding ding founds what he searched for far and wide.

安丁丁跟蹤USB去到Kubrick以為佢有咩大茶飯食，點知得個吉。直至昨日為了繼續取得Mklababy既信任又要約佢出黎食飯… 心力交瘁既安丁丁今日終於有收獲，所謂得來全不費功夫。

On ding ding received Sir Wong’s message and followed USB to go to Kam Shan Seafood Restaurant which is a tradition seafood restaurant located in Jordan for a long time.

安丁丁收到黃蛇信息跟蹤USB去到一間位於佐敦名叫金山海鮮酒家既傳統大酒樓。

When On ding ding got inside, decoration of the restaurant was very tradition and the color of the furnishing mainly use of red and golden color.

安丁丁一入門口見到酒樓擺設好傳統，整體以金色紅色為主但相比起一般酒樓有一種古舊的味道。

Where is USB? USB sat with two people but only see their back.

USB呢？ 原來已經坐低，另外有兩個人與USB一起坐，可惜只看到背面。

On ding ding keep watched on USB, also his dishes.

遠處的安丁丁一直監視住USB仲有USB 的小菜…

USB ordered three dishes, and seems delicious.

USB叫了三道小菜，樣子十分吸引。

First is Wan Yin Chicken.

第一道，雲英雞。

“This chicken do not have chicken flavor, but the flesh is smooth. So far so good la.” USB shouted.

USB大叫：「碟雲英雞無雞味…肉質得個滑字，勉強接受啦～」

Second is Boiled Shrimp.

第二道，白灼蝦。

“Shrimp have shrimp flavor, boiled shrimp is the best of the best.” USB said.

USB：「蝦有蝦味，係要咁整蝦先夠鮮！」

Third is Spiced salt with Harpadon nehereus.

第三道，椒鹽九肚魚。

On ding ding was attracted by the last dish, “ This fried fish not too dry and not too oil, and it do not have fishy smell.” On ding ding thought.

安丁丁被九肚魚吸引住，安丁丁心想：「九肚魚炸出黎又不太乾身，入面滑之餘又無腥味，簡直人間美食。」

So sad, USB just had a dinner with friend.

唉，不過USB所謂既大茶飯只不過係酒樓食餐飯…又空歡喜一場。

“Ring….Ring….Ring….” On Ding Ding ‘s phone was ringing.

安丁丁的電話響起。

"Wu...wu...wu…” Mklababy cried.

Mklababy係度喊。

“What’s happening? Tell me… What’s going on???” On Ding Ding was asking nervously.

安丁丁好激動緊張咁問Mklababy發生左咩事。

“I have watched a touching korean tv drama called “My Love From The Star” … I can’t lose my love in my life …. It’s horrible to live without ….”
「我睇左套韓劇...叫來自星星的你...我唔可以冇左心愛嘅人....好驚呀...」

"Um… It’s ..it’s not real… I will be...be with …..yo….u” On Ding Ding said slowly.

「唔係真的...我會....一直係...係...你身...........邊」安丁丁慢吞吞咁講。

"I can make you to feel the love in the Korean Drama….” On said

我可以令你感受到韓劇入面果份愛。

"Where are you bring me to ?” Mklababy asked.

「你帶我去邊呀?」Mklababy問。

"Seoul...."  On Ding Ding answered.

「漢城.....」安丁丁答。

Hansung Co. is a famous korean restaurant located in Tsim Sha Tsui. There are three signature dishes which are Spicy Seafood Pancake , Korean sauted glutinous-rice-flour hard-cake and kimbap.

漢城美食係一間位於尖沙咀好出名嘅韓式餐廳，佢地有三款招牌菜式：韓式海鮮餅，韓式炒年糕同埋韓式紫菜卷。

They ordered both three dishes and started to enjoy the special Korean lifestyle….

佢地叫左呢三款招牌菜式，跟住就開始去享受一個特別嘅韓式生活喇....

Before the three dishes arrived, the Philippino waitress delivered two appetizers which were kimichi and sour radish.

在三碟菜黎之前，菲律賓藉嘅侍應拎左兩碟小點，係泡菜同埋酸蘿蔔。

The first dish was the Spicy Seafood Pancake. The ingredients were shrimp, clam, squid and cabbage. The special korean sauce which is made of kimchi, korean spicy sauce and green onion was perfectly harmony with the pancake. The pancake was about 8inch in width which could totally cut in 8 pieces. When On Ding Ding ate it, he could not stopped and kept on eating and eating. It was a memorable first dish -- Spicy Seafood Pancake.

第一碟菜係韓式海鮮餅，材料有：蝦，蜆肉，魷魚同埋椰菜。配上特別嘅韓式醬，係由泡菜，韓國辣甜醬，蔥而制，簡直係非凡的配搭。海鮮餅大約係８吋咁大，可以分成８份。當安丁丁食得一啖，佢就唔停得口，不停咁食。呢個菜係一個好令人忘懷嘅－韓式海鮮餅。

The second dish was the Korean sauted glutinous-rice-flour hard-cake which was a well-known korean dish among young adults. The special spicy and sweet sauce was the essential element in it.The rice-flour hard-cake was a little bit hard and spicy because of the heavy sauce filling in it. The spicy level was acceptable to the majority which was not as spicy as Korea’s local restaurant’s.

第二道菜係韓式炒年糕，相信呢個菜係年青人心中都唔陌生，亦都好深受年輕人歡迎。呢道菜最特別嘅地方係在於個又辣又甜嘅醬。年糕有少少硬同埋辣，但相信係大多數人都能夠接受嘅辣程度但比起韓國當地餐廳，就已經唔算辣了。

The last one was the kimbap. On Ding Ding wondered the difference between kimbap and sushi. Mklababy explained to him which was different on the ingredients. For japanese sushi, it was made of vinegar while kimbap was made of sesame oil and salt. The taste was totally different and more healthy. The flavor of kimbap was also highly changeable which had kimchi, beef, sausage or even chicken. Kimbap was a famous dish in Haisung Co. because of the unique ingredients which contained both sausage, tuna, kimchi and beef and which could not be found in other korean restaurants.

至於第三碟菜就係韓式紫菜卷，安丁丁好奇問Mklababy到底韓式紫菜卷同日本壽司有咩分別呢？Mklababy就解釋日本壽司係用醋加入飯，而韓式紫菜卷係用芝麻油同埋鹽。味道係完全唔同，仲好健康！而且韓式紫菜卷係可以有好多款味的，有泡菜，牛肉，香腸，甚至係雞！Kimbap係漢城美食咁出名係因為漢城英食有齊晒咁多款口味，有香腸，吞拿魚，泡菜，牛肉集於一身，係第二間韓式餐廳係搵唔到的！

Hansung Co. was full of korean style no matter on the decorations or tableware which made Mklababy and On Ding Ding felt like entering into a special view. What’s the following….?  

今次呢間餐廳確真係充滿韓國風情，無論係佈置定係餐具，都係充滿韓式風情，令Mklababy同安丁丁進入了一個特別嘅國度，唔知跟住落黎會發生咩事呢.....?
